The driving force behind this excellent customer service is Managing Director Paul Brayley. Born and raised in Hampstead, a young Paul would observe his father working on his car. This inspired Paul to take a Motor Vehicle Apprenticeship in 1978.
• Beginning as a technician, Paul worked his way up the ranks, through Sales and Branch Manager positions.
• In 1988 he took on responsibility for three Citroen Showrooms in London.
• From 1994 Paul took on Sales Manager then Regional Manager roles Davenport Vernon Volvo.
• 1999 saw Paul become the Divisional Director of a new group, Johnson’s Cars.
• 2003 arrived and Paul took on the Honda dealership in St Albans, starting up Brayley’s cars.

Paul’s automotive experience of over 30 years has led him to embrace the ideal of good, old-fashioned customer service. Great customer service is the core of the Brayley’s company ethos.

Meet the team

Sailesh Popat

Newly promoted to Aftersales Director having held the role as Group Aftersales Manager since 2011, Sailesh joined Brayleys Cars 2009 as Afterales Manager with an impeccable pedigree and over 20 years in the motor industry.

After qualifiying as a technician, he worked hard to achieve Master Technician status, of which, at the time there were only 13 in Europe. He used his knowledge and skills to become Workshop Controller then Service Manager.

His technical skills ensure that the aftersales operations across all of our dealerships run efficiently and that he can deal with customers and technicians with complete confidence.
